About the event
This social's theme aims to help the community with submissions to the juried Snap It contest, and that all VMAA members are eligible to apply.
Please note the Snap It deadline is February 15 (and that there are cash prizes and bragging rights).
Sundays in Studio social meetups are back! Now that we've shaken off the January blues (mostly?) and are in all likelihood grinding away in our studios for the upcoming V Day sales, VMAA is delighted to relaunch the popular online socials we launched last year.
Join VMAA President Ingrid Valou for a casual social this session, with icebreaker questions centred on photography. Not sure what to expect? Well, we might:
- Share tips
- Discuss the Snap It contest
- Bring photos or Instagram feeds for suggestions and feedback
While we can't claim to be pro photographers, we've picked up a few tips on positioning, lighting and post-processing over the years that we're happy to share.
Please note there are two events: one on February 6 and another on February 13. If you can't make one, don't worry; just come to the other!
