UNEXPECTED Featured Artist: Louise Perrone
Louise Perrone lives and works in Vancouver. Born and raised in England, she studied Sculpture at Nottingham Trent University and became a qualified Teacher of Art and Design at the University of Brighton. After teaching at Watford Grammar School for Girls for two years she immigrated to Canada to study Jewellery and Metals at Alberta College of Art and Design. She was awarded the Governor General of Canada’s Academic Medal upon graduation. Her work has been exhibited across North America and Europe and is represented by Galerie Noel Guyomarc’h in Montreal. She is an instructor in the Jewellery Design program at LaSalle College in Vancouver and the current President of the Vancouver Metal Arts Association.
